BUILDING EVACUATION PROGRAM - Building Evacuation teaches personnel the proper techniques for ensuring a timely, thorough and safe evacuation of a building. The program provides the following training:

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY - This program covers the basic aspects of OSHA's standard for Permit-Required Confined Spaces (29 CFR 1910.146). The program explains what a confined space is according to the standard and gives the characteristics that distinguish a permit-required confined space. The duties and responsibilities of the three main participants as defined by the standard are reviewed: the authorized entrant, the attendant and the entry supervisor. Finally the program describes the contents of the written Confined Space Entry Program including the classification of confined spaces, regular and alternate procedures, the entry permit system, training, rescue procedures and working with contractors.

CONSTRUCTION SAFETY: OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY - This program provides a basic overview of the safety procedures construction workers need to be aware of while working on most construction sites.
Topics covered include: the use of warning signs, good housekeeping, personal protective equipment, fall protection, material handling, basic information found in the company's written Hazard Communication Program, identifying materials which present special hazards, the basic procedures for using a fire extinguisher, the basic procedures for confined space entry, the steps to be taken if an accident occurs at the construction site.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY: PREVENTING THE SHOCK OF LIFETIME - This program starts with a dramatic incident in which a worker receives a severe shock while working near electrical lines. After defining the difference between a qualified worker and an unqualified worker, the program goes on to describe various training, work practices, and preventive measures that these employees need to know.
The basic principles behind de-energizing equipment, lockout/ tagout, and re-energizing equipment are covered. Other important safety related work practices are addressed, including safe working distances which apply to unqualified workers and the safety measures which will affect the distance that qualified workers must maintain while working on energized equipment. LABELS AND OTHER FORMS OF WARNING - This 1-hour program explains the basic hazard warning information that will be found on labels and how that information is tied to the MSDS to provide detailed information about hazardous materials in the workplace. The program describes the three basic types of information that will be found on all container labels: the identity of the hazardous chemical(s), appropriate hazard warnings as well as the name and address of the chemical manufacturer, importer or other responsible party. Typical information found on labels is explained such as: signal words, statement of hazard, precautionary measures, instructions in case of exposure, instructions in case of fire or spill, and instructions for container handling and storage. Finally, three commonly used labeling systems and their intended purpose are illustrated using colorful graphics and in-field examples. These include the DOT system, the NFPA 704 system and the HMIS system.

            The  agreed upon monthly service fee is not a contract - a Handshake Only. Continuing the monthly visitations allows us to be your company's Safety Director.
