Deatherage, acknowledged as one of the area's leading experts on Fire and Life Safety, has built a consulting and training firm with a reputation that is unmatched. As president of The Deatherage Companies, Bill has over 40 years of professional fire and safety experience with industrial, municipal, manufacturing and academic organizations. He served as the City of Broken Arrow’s Fire Marshal for 25 years. Upon retiring, Bill is able to concentrate fully on The Deatherage Companies and to continue with his belief --- that fire and life safety should be paramount daily in our personal and professional lives.
Parts of Bill's experience included the resolution of post-inspection safety and environmental issues for various entities, with excellent results. He is able to incorporate his teaching experience. He currently teaches as an Adjunct Instructor for Tulsa Community College (30 years) and Oklahoma State University (28 years).

Safety Specialist
A highly trained and talented Safety Specialist with over 20 years experience. Billy began his safety career in 1988 by joining the United States Navy. After completing his tour with the military, he continued his Civil Service career in multiple positions within the Department of Defense with over 12 years in the Fire and Emergency Services, including all branches of the Federal Government. Billy conducts the OSHA 10 and 30 Hour courses for the Tulsa Technology Center and at the Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus. Other duties include but are not limited to assisting clients safety programs, including safety inspections, plan reviews, accident investigations, and safety training.
Our expert staff develops and provides, high-quality, effective emergency response, emergency medical, emergency safety, disaster preparedness and environmental health training programs and program certifications. Our programs are designed to emphasize realistic, hands-on emergency and safety skills – skills that save lives. We provide expert consultation, needs assessments, emergency-disaster planning and OSHA compliance services.
